For Little Readers
Panda Ray is a very emotional bear. As he goes about his day, he feels 8 BIG emotions, and each one feels different in his body. In the story, Panda Ray uses his body sensations to figure out what emotion he's feeling. This helps children learn to recognize and manage their own emotions in a fun, engaging, and relatable format.
For Big Readers
Let's face it-- managing big emotions can be tough for everyone, whether you're a little one or a grown-up. Panda Ray's Emotional Day is designed to provide adults with simple, evidence-based emotional regulation strategies for everyday use. These simple tools are used throughout the story, and reinforced by the Resource Section in the back of the book.
